When there is a deficiency in any of these it will cause some changes in a person's mood.
  • Milk - many studies have proved that calcium can greatly affects mood swings especially when associated with PMS or premenstrual syndrome in women. And one great source of calcium is milk, cheese and yogurt.
  • Dark Leafy Green Vegetables - this type of vegetable is very rich in nutritional value per ounce compared to any other food source. They contain a wide range of vitamin b which is crucial in the production of neurotransmitters in the brain like serotonin. Serotonin is responsible for relieving us from anxiety and stress thus can greatly affect our mood swings. With the abundance of different types of vitamin b in green leafy vegetables it can help us improve our memory, gives us energy and help us with our mood swings. Plus the presence of vitamin c in this vegetable can also help.
