Amfebutamone (Bupropion) has a stimulant type of effect and is used primarily for the treatment of major depression. Amfebutamone (Bupropion) can also be used to treat ADHD, Bipolar depression, to treat chronic fatigue syndrome,in reducing cocaine craving,to help kick smoking,and to reduce lower back pain.

Amfebutamone (byoo-PROE-pee-on) is used to relieve mental depression and is used as part of a support program to help you stop smoking.

Bupropion is sold under different brand names for different uses.

How to Take Amfebutamone

The dose of Amfebutamone (bupropion) will be different for different patients. Empty stomach and a full glass of water, can be taken with food to lessen stomach irritation. Take Amfebutamone medication exactly as prescribed. Do not stop taking Amfebutamone medication suddenly without consulting your doctor. Some conditions may become worse when the medication is stopped abruptly.
