Dual uptake inhibitor means -- it simply means a drug that affects the reuptake of two neurotransmitters instead of one. How to Take YentreveYentreve may be taken with or without food. Yentreve has not been shown to increase the effects of alcohol. Even so, you should take extra care if you drink alcohol while taking Yentreve. The recommended dose of Yentreve is one capsule of 40 mg twice a day (in the morning and late afternoon/evening). However, your doctor may decide to decrease your dose to one capsule of 20 mg twice a day. If you think that the effect of Yentreve is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor. In addition, this type of antidepressant should not be started until at least five days after stopping Yentreve.
